CRMC to honor National Social Workers Month with ‘Lunch and Learn’ Seminar

(Crosby, MN) — March is National Social Workers Month and Cuyuna Regional Center will be hosting area seniors to attend a panel presentation on area social services with Crow Wing County professionals on Thursday March 10th from 12-1:30pm at the Deerwood Auditorium.

This free Lunch and Learn seminar will offer information social work services available in the community to support older adults. Speakers will include Financial Assistance Specialist Andrea Gunter, Minnesota Choices Assessor Anne Marie Foy, Adult Protection Services Representative Ashley Gage, CRMC Social Worker and Palliative Care Coordinator Betsy Liedl, and CRMC Home Care and Hospice Social Worker Kim Olesen.

This seminar is sponsored by Cuyuna Area Connections in partnership with CRMC, boxed lunches will be provided. Tables will be spaced apart for social distancing and masks will be required when not eating. Registration is required by Friday, March 4th by calling KariLee Pietz at 218-545-5361.
