(Crosby, MN) — Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s monthly update on Community Connection will focus on cardiovascular health with the month of February being American Heart Month.

CRMC Board Certified Family Medicine Physician Hannah Elsenpeter will provide tips on how to prevent heart disease, which is the #1 killer of both men and women. Dr. Elsenpeter will also identify risks for heart disease and provide information on lowering blood pressure, maintaining a healthy diet, being active, and avoiding tobacco.

Dr. Elsenpeter has practiced at CRMC’s Crosby Clinic since September. Her special interests include Obstetrics and Women’s Health, Dermatology with Dermoscopy, Pediatrics, and Addiction Medicine. She completed residency at the Duluth Family Medicine Residency Program where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Elsenpeter earned her Medical Degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences at the University of Minnesota Rochester.
