A Crookston man has been sentenced for stabbing his mother in March of last year. 37-year-old Kevin Corona was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for second degree intentional murder. Charges of first degree intentional murder, first and second degree assault and felony domestic assault were dismissed. The two were covered in blood and one officer found a knife on the ground. The victim told police Corona was living with her and became angry when she said she was moving.
