Crookston Inmate Death Update

New information is available about the death of an inmate at the Northwest Regional Correction Center in Crookston.  Back on February14, an inmate was found unresponsive in his cell.  The man had been arrested for a DWI in Norman County.  The final autopsy reports show the man’s death was a suicide by hanging.

Crookston Man Sentenced For Attempted Murder

A Crookston man has been sentenced for stabbing his mother in March of last year.  37-year-old Kevin Corona was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for second degree intentional murder.
