Crosby-Ironton Schools Superintendent talks High School Graduation
After another whirlwind school year, Crosby-Ironton Schools will be graduating the High School Class of 2022 on Friday, June 3rd at 7pm from the Dave Galovich Gym.
Returning to check in with the latest happening at the Crosby-Ironton School District, Superintendent Dr. Jamie Skjeveland (Skev-lend) detailed the year that has led to graduation day.
Since becoming Superintendent in 2006, Dr. Skjeveland has seen the large graduating classes dwindle in size.
Many factors for enrollment have played into the shrinking class sizes, even recently with the COVID Pandemic.
For in recent graduation ceremonies that have been held outdoors to comply with social distancing, the Crosby-Ironton School District wanted to keep the tradition of the indoor ceremony while taking into account the variability of the weather.
