Crow Wing County Seniors can pick up free frozen meals on March 21st at Deerwood Auditorium

(Deerwood, MN) — The Catholic Charities of Saint Cloud’s Senior Dining program returns to  distribute free frozen meals for Crow Wing County seniors age 60 and older in the parking lot of the Deerwood Auditorium on Monday, March 21st from 11am-12pm.

The drive-through, no-contact distribution will give seniors pre-packaged bags of 10 frozen meals. Each senior may receive up to 30 meals in a month that are healthy and nutritious and meet one third of the recommended daily dietary allowance for seniors. 

The meals are also packaged in microwave and oven safe containers and easy to heat and eat. There is no fee for the meals, however contributions are accepted. The program is partially funded under a contract with the Central Minnesota Council on Aging as part of the Older Americans Act and administered by the Cathloic Charities of the Diocese of Saint Cloud.
