Crow Wing Energized offering community mental health resource fair
The community is invited to a Community Mental Health Resource sponsored by Crow Wing Energized on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Would you like to learn more about mental health resources in our community? At the start of the day, Crow Wing Energized is sharing information about the 100 Community Conversations project conducted by our adverse child experiences (ACEs) and Resiliency Coalition. You will also have an opportunity to attend breakout sessions to share your insight for the next step in this project: building a community resilience plan. Other breakout sessions include:
- Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
- Changing the Narrative.
- Make it OK.
- Naloxone Training.
- Postvention.
- Question, Persuade, Refer.
- Resourceful.
- S.A.V.E. – a suicide prevention program.
Participants will be able to attend up to three different sessions where they will have a chance to learn about each program. The attached flyer has a short narrative about each topic. The overall goal is to offer these programs on a regular basis in our community.
Crow Wing Energized is a grassroots community health and wellness movement led and funded by SHIP (Statewide Health Improvement Partnership), Crow Wing County and Essentia Health.
