DEED announces Over $2M in Grants to Power Regional Innovation
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development has awarded $1 million in Launch Minnesota Education Grants to entrepreneurial support organizations and more than $1.16 million in Innovation Grants to startups statewide.
Eight support organizations received grants to become Launch Minnesota Network hub leaders which, alongside more than 120 program partners, spearhead regional efforts to help entrepreneurs access available resources.
Organizations receiving Education Grant funding and their regional programs for entrepreneurs include the Greater Bemidji Program called NoW Innovators.
In a press release DEED Commissioner Matt Varilek said “”We’re excited to support innovation and startup growth through the Launch Minnesota Innovation Grants and Education Grants, both programs offer valuable support to help Minnesota’s startups and small businesses prosper and grow.”
