DGF Adds FFA Chapter
An area school is starting a Future Farmers of America chapter. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton has never had an FFA chapter until now. Kayla Lauer, who will be the FFA club’s advisor, says it’s not because of a lack of interest.
Lauer says CoBank is a big factor in starting the FFA chapter, thanks to David Kragnes, a member of CoBank’s board of directors and a DGF graduate.
Lauer says the new FFA club plans to start small, but there’s room to grow since the DGF School District owns land west of the school building in Glyndon. Part of that could be set aside for FFA use.
