CO Chelsey Best (Pequot Lakes) worked ice fishing and snowmobile activity this week. Enforcement action was taken for registration issues, speed, off-trail travel and no snowmobile safety certificate.

CO Jim Guida (Brainerd East) patrolled the station for snowmobile and angling activity. Numerous sleds were observed. A complaint of an individual dumping snow on the trail was investigated. A few collector snowmobile permits were issued for a local vintage ride.

CO Eric Sullivan (Brainerd) worked snowmobile and angling activity around the Gull Lake area. Snowmobile activity was busy on area trails. Additional activity was in the area due to the Frozen Fore and Nisswa 100 snowmobile events. Ice anglers reported poor results.

CO Nate Benkofske (McGregor) reports checking snowmobile riders and anglers. Enforcement action was taken for snowmobile speed, not stopping at stop signs on trails, driving off-trail in a wildlife management area, no registration, angling without a license, and no shelter license. Animal-related calls were also handled in the area.
