Don’t take a vacation from Car Seat Safety 

Summer vacation is a busy time for children, as they’re often running around trying to get from activity to activity, however this is often a time when vehicle safety takes a back seat.  Jasmine Wangen of Safe Kids Grand Forks highlights a dangerous travel trend that she often sees in the summer, and she reminds people to not take a vacation from safety. 

This trend can often occur when you are traveling by air, and don’t want to drag a car seat around. Wangen says Safe Kids Grand Forks does have a car seat loaner program for situations like this.

Safe Kids Grand Forks will be holding a Car Seat Check Up at Little Learners Childcare in Ada on Thursday, July 24 from 3:00 to 6:00. The event is free, and open to the public, with no appointments required.
