Dozens Turn Out for Largest Between Two Cities Market
Vendors from across the region filled Main Street in Hillsboro Thursday for the largest turnout in Between Two Cities Market history. Offerings ranged from lamb and salmon to potato dumplings and purple bell peppers.
In addition to bringing farmers market enthusiasts together, it also served as an opportunity to promote local agriculture. The market partnered with the Foundation for Agricultural and Rural Resources Management and Sustainability (FARRMS). FARRMS Marketing Manager, Shelby Hazel, talks about their organization.
Our full interview with Hazel is at the bottom of this story. You can find more information about FARRMS by visiting their website: HOME | FARRMS. You can also check out our KRJB KRJM KKCQ Facebook Page for a few photos from the event.
