Earth Summit In Mahnomen

MAHNOMEN, MN—The White Earth Tribal and Community College will hold an Earth Summit next week.  White Earth Community Extension Educator Robert Shimek says the Earth Summit is an expansion of last year’s White Earth Water Summit.

Shimek tells us researchers from the University of Minnesota will be among those making presentations.

There will also be discussions on how artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency affect water.  The Earth Summit 2025 will be held on the campus of the White Earth Tribal and Community College in Mahnomen next Wednesday, May 28 from 11am to 4:30pm and Thursday, May 29 from 9am to 4:30pm.  The Earth Summit is free and open to the public.  There’s more information through this link: https://www.wetcc.edu/earth-summit-2025-2/
