HILLSBORO, ND—A woman from Emarado is accused of threatening several people at Mayville State University.  According to court documents, Ann Paciaroni was speaking to a Mayville State University professor on March 10.  The professor told Paciaroni that she had an assignment due and her laptop didn’t meet the technology requirements for the course.  The professor said Paciaroni became upset, then went to the university’s IT department and demanded their staff do the assignment for her.  When the staff refused, documents say Paciaroni said she “would shoot staff members of MSU.”  Court documents go on to say that Paciaroni went to Corner Nutrition near campus and made more comments about killing, saying “I am going to kill you and your family so your Norwegian heritage would die.”  A Traill County Deputy says both Mayville State professors and the employees at the business feared for their safety.  Paciaroni is charged with terrorizing and disorderly conduct.  She is due in court on May 20.
