Erickson Smokehouse under new Ownership 

Starting today Erickson Smokehouse in Fertile will be under new ownership, as Mark Erickson has sold the business to Kevin and Janessa Keicker. New owner Kevin Keicker says he and his wife have a lot to learn, but they’re excited for this new venture. 

Erikson expressed his full confidence in the Keickers as owners, and he hopes that the Fertile community will continue to support them, as they did him. 

Erickson also said that he’ll still be around the restaurant to help the Keickers with the transition through the summer. 

Lastly, Kevin Keicker told us what he’s looking forward to most about the new journey. 

The Keickers say there are no plans to change the name of the business.
