Essentia Health-Fosston to host a stroke and trauma awareness community event

The Essentia Health-Fosston Clinic is hosting a community stroke and trauma awareness grill out event in recognition of National Stroke Awareness month. The event will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 20th, on the sidewalk outside of Nord’s Pharmacy & Gifts at 115 Johnson Avenue in downtown Fosston. Attendees will be able to enjoy free burgers, brats, chips and water and giveaways will include a drawing for two bikes with helmets. Educational materials will be available on the risk factors for stroke, smoking cessation and bike safety. The event will be free and open o he public.
