Essentia Health Wins Innovation Award

Earlier this month, Essentia Health received an award for innovation at the Medica Accountable Care Organization Engagement Summit.  Cathy Cantor, chief medical officer, population health at Essentia Health, talks about the award.

Cantor says an example of that innovation that Essentia Health uses every day is the virtual visit, or online conference with a doctor.

Cantor goes on to say that a critical factor in making online visits work is having reliable wi-fi service.  If not at home, then at a library or at a local health care facility in case you don’t have wi-fi in your home.
