The 2nd-ranked C-I Rangers rolled into Pillager and handled the Huskies to remain unbeaten to start the season.
The Rangers defense forced 20 Pillager turnovers in the first half and used a quick-strike offense to build the lead as high as 40 and took a 56-18 lead into halftime.
The second half mirrored the first as the Rangers kept control for the forty-point win, the Rangers fifth straight victory in the series.
Alivia Brown scored 13 of the Huskies’ 26 as Pillager falls to 2-4 on the year.
The Rangers (8-0) were lead by Tori Oehrlein’s 28 points and 8 assists along with Regan Jeunemann’s 22 points. Sammy Hachey added 14 and Lucy Lewandowski reached double figures with 10.
