BBB 6A- Ada-Borup-West vs Hillcrest Lutheran at Perham

After one tie and one lead change in the opening two minutes of the game, the Ada-Borup-west Cougars would not give the lead away in their 82-62 victory over the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets. The Cougars’ aggressive defense forced the Comets into turnovers or difficult shots early in the game as the Cougars ran out to a 43-24 halftime lead. After halftime the Comets tried to make a run but would get no closer than 11 points the remainder of the game with the Cougars sharing the load with a balanced offensive attack and shooting over 80% from free throw line to keep the Comets from coming back. Ada-Borup-West advances to the 6A North Sub-Section Championship game to face the Henning Hornets on Wednesday.
