Myah Reuper scored 1:05 into the game and the goal barrage was on as the Northern Lakes Lightning scored a 14-1 win over Prairie Center to advance to the 6A semifinals. The Lightning struck time and time again as they built a 6-1 lead after the first period, then added five more in the second and finished with three in the final frame.

Northern Lakes went 2 for 2 on the power play and outshot the Blue Devils 50-11 and won for the 20th straight time in their series.

Kambria Thompson scored two first period goals, then turned into a distributor as she added four assists for a six-point night. Savannah John tallied two goals and a assist. Northern Lakes moves to 11-11-2 on the year while Prairie Center finishes their season at 2-22-1 and will graduate six seniors.
