8A GBB Red Lake at Clearbrook-Gonvick

Allison Lavine scored 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears defeated the Red Lake Warriors 54-25 at Clearbrook-Gonvick High School. The Bears led 29-14 at halftime and used a 22-3 run to help them pull away for the win. Aubrey Stoskopf added 9 points and Mya Engen 8 points for the Bears as they improve to 8-19 overall. Rhianna May led the Warriors with 14 points and 11 rebounds as Red Lake ends their season at 1-21. May is the only senior on the Red Lake Roster this season. It was the third win for the Bears over the Warriors this season. Clearbrook-Gonvick will next play at Cass Lake-Bena at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 27th in the 2nd round of the Section 8A Tournament.
