Ada Post 26 will play for a Minnesota Legion State Championship after defeating LeSueur/Henderson Post 55 & 74 by a 5-1 score. Post 26 scored in the first off a sacrifice fly before adding two runs in each of the next two innings for an early 5-0 advantage. LeSueur/Henderson threatened with a two-out rally in the fifth inning by loading the bases and scored their only run on a walk before a ground out ended the inning. Needing four runs to extend the game in the seventh, LeSuer/Henderson got a leadoff double and walk to put the tying run on deck, but Post 26 was able to keep anyone from scoring with an game ending double play to advance them to the Championship game. Post 26 will face St.Cloud in the championship Sunday at 1:30 with LeSuer/Henderson playing Parkers Prairie in the 3rd place game at 11am.
