Ada-Borup-West at Barnesville

After the two teams split the opening sets, the Barnesville Trojans advantage in net control spurred them to wins in sets three and four for the 3-1 win over the Ada-Borup-West Cougars. Set one opened tightly with neither team able to score consecutive points until the Trojans back to back kills gave them a 10-8 lead and momentum to control the remainder of the set for the 25-14 win. The Cougars rallied at the start of set two for a 10-3 lead and with their defense helping extend rallies they controlled the set to earn a 25-14 set win. The Third set remained competitive as the teams battled back and forth. After it was tied 13-13 the Trojans where able to again get back to back kills to pull ahead, and then put up a solid block to control the net and stay ahead for the set win 25-21. The Trojan set three formula continued into the fourth as they wore down the Cougars for the 25-16 win.
