Cadyn Dahl hit 8 three pointers as the Ada-Borup-West Cougars defeated the Fosston Greyhounds 73-34 at Fosston on Thursday night. Dahl led the Cougars with 26 points as Ada-Borup-West won their fourth straight game and improved to 14-5 overall and 10-1 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Austin McCraven pitched in with 15 points while Mason Larson scored 10 points and Anders Tinjum 9 points for Ada-Borup-West. Will Christen led Fosston with 14 points as the Greyhounds suffered their fourth loss in their last six games and fall to 8-8 overall and 7-5 in the conference. Kelton Gray and Mitchell Mulry each scored 4 points for Fosston. The Cougars never trailed in the game and led 38-19 at halftime. Fosston turned the ball over 28 times while the Cougars turned the ball over 15 times. Ada-Borup-West won the “B” Squad game (1/2) over Fosston 33-18. The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, February 1st when they play Fargo Oak Grove at UMC in Crookston. The Cougars will play their next game on Tuesday, February 4th when they host the Bagley Flyers in Ada (106.5 FM & Your Live Event).
