GBB Ada-Borup-West at Lake Park-Audubon

Ada-Borup-West overcame twenty one first half turnovers as they regrouped at halftime for a 68-44 victory at Lake Park Audubon.   There were three ties with two lead changes in the early stages of this conference and section game.  The final tie was 16-16 when the Lady Cougars put together a 6-0 surge as part of a 16-7 outscoring of the Raiders in the final seven minutes of the first half for a 32-23 halftime advantage.   After the halftime conversation the lead grew to 46-27 midway through the second half as the Cougars played better defense, shot well from the perimeter and paint areas, beat the press and were taking advantage of the Raiders fatigue with their third game in four nights.  Ada-Borup-West had a balanced offensive night and also made 11 of 11 free throw to improve the record to 9-3 overall.  Lake Park Audubon is now 5-10 on the season.
