The Ada Borup West Cougars returned the opening kickoff 81 yards for a touchdown, and would lead the game 7-6 after the first quarter,  but the Red Lake County Rebels scored off of each Cougar turnover in the game, and would roll on to their second win over the Cougars in 15 days, defeating Ada Borup West 34-14 in the 8A Semifinals, advancing to the Section 8A Championship against Mahnomen/Waubun on Halloween.
