Dilworth Glyndon Felton ( DGF Rebels ) ended Ada-Borup-West five game win streak with the 69-31 victory Monday night. With the Rebels leading 18-14, they forced the visiting Cougars into five consecutive turnovers which led to eleven points before a halftime lead of 35-17. The first half turnovers may not have been the most costly for the Cougars— with :!0 to play, the Cougars leading scorer and rebounder this season, Morgan Engel suffered a leg/knee injury as she was assisted off the floor by trainers and coaches. DGF continues to have a balanced offensive season with four players in double figures — they also outrebounded the Cougars 37-14 improving to 17-5 overall. Ada-Borup-West is 13-7 with games on Thursday and Friday to start the home stretch for all remaining four games of the regular season being played at home for the Cougars. On Friday night, the Cougars will recognize the 2015 State Championship, 32-0 team with a ten year anniversary tribute planned and most of those team members returning for the event. The Rebels who lead section 8AA also have four games remaining in the regular season.
