East Grand Forks, MN — The Ada-Borup-West Cougars got a stellar performance from Pitcher Ames Fassino in route to their 5-1 win over the Sacred Heart Eagles.
Fassino allowed only 1 run on 5 hits in his complete game performance and also fanned 8 Sacred Heart batters. It was an uncharacteristic game defensively for the Eagles as they committed 6 errors and Ada-Borup-West took advantage of those miscues by getting baserunners in scoring position and, while unconventional at times, would push those runners across the plate to win the game 5-1.
