Ada-Borup-West was able to take advantage of hitting errors, and overcame the Fillmore Central Falcons in four sets, to advance to the State Semifinals of Class A Volleyball.
There were 14 ties in the first set, and the Cougars would earn a 27-25 win, then in set two, there would be five ties late, with the Cougars winning 25-23. It seemed like Filmore Central had turned the corner, overwhelming the Cougars in set three 25-13, but the light switch came back late in the fourth as the Cougars forced a Tie at 21, and avoided set point by the Falcons and would earn victory 26-24, improving to 24-8 and will play in the semifinals against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Friday at 3pm on KRJB 106.5FM with coverage beginning at 2:30pm.
