Ada-Borup-West vs. West Central Area

In a rematch of last years Section 6A Championship game the West Central Area Knights defeated the Ada-Borup-West Cougars by the same score, 60-56. While the Cougars struggled to make shots in the first half, the Knights were effective beyond the arc, knocking down six total three-pointers to help jump ahead by double digits with 12 minutes remaining in the half and held the margin for a 35-24 halftime advantage. In the second half the Cougars would cut into the lead multiple times with the Knights consistently find ways to re-extend the lead. Ada-Borup-West’s final run came in the closing minutes as they closed the gap to three points. West Central Area would go to the free throw line then with three seconds remaining and make the first free throw  for the four point margin to end the game. Both teams sports 8-4 overall records on the season after the Knight’s victory.
