Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at Ada-Borup-West

After a 90 minute weather delay that broke up the first inning, the #2 Ada Borup West Cougars came out of the delay and plated 8 runs, leading them to an 11-1 victory in five innings in the 8A West Subsection playoffs over #7 BGMR.  The Cougars were led by Caspar Kritzberger who led the team with the win on the mound, and also reached base twice including a solo home run in the 3rd inning.  Luke Finney was a home run shy of the cycle, going 3-3 at the plate and Senior Joey Bueng scored the game winning run as a courtesy runner.  Ada Borup West is now 16-4 and play on Thursday in the 8A West playoffs (double elimination) against Sacred Heart while BGMR has their season end with 5-15 record.
