VB Bagley at Clearbrook-Gonvick

The Bagley Flyers improved to 3-0 overall with the 3-0 sweep at Clearbrook-Gonvick. For the first time since 2022, the Flyers will bring home the travelling trophy the two teams battle for every September. Freshman Mazie Hoie had 14 service points, four service aces and just one service error for the Flyers. The first set featured eleven ties but Bagley would close it on an 11-2 run to win 25-20. Bagley ended the second set on a 10-5 run to win 25-19. Emma Fawver led Clearbrook-Gonvick with 11 kills as the Bears fall to 0-3 overall. Charlie Phillips added 5 kills for the Bears. Elexis Soderstrom led Bagley with 7 kills while Kaley Thompson had 6 kills and McKalyn Hoie 5 kills for the Flyers. Bagley will return to action on Saturday, September 6th when they play at the Ruth Hayden Tournament in Ada. The Bears will play their next match on Thursday, September 4th when they travel to Nevis to take on the Tigers. Bagley won both the “B” Squad and “C” Squad matches 2-0.
