FB: Bagley at Polk County West (EGF)

Mike Gapp rushed for 275 yards and four touchdowns as Polk County West defeated Bagley 39-18 Friday night in East Grand Forks.

Gapp carried the ball 41 times and also scored six extra points (three two-point conversions) as the Thunder earned their first victory of the season.

Bagley also featured a hard-hitting running back as junior Noah Nelson carried 20 times for 215 yards and three touchdowns for the Flyers.

Only one pass was completed the entire night.  That was early in the fourth quarter when PCW’s Will Zavoral threw a 15 yard TD pass to Ty Torrence.

Polk County West (1-2) takes on Ada-Borup-West next Friday in Climax.   Bagley (0-3) travels to Mahnomen-Waubun.
