Easton Kennedy and Bauer Walter each scored 2 goals as Detroit Lakes defeated Bagley/Fosston 5-1 at Detroit Lakes in the Section 8A Quarterfinals. The Lakers led 1-0 after the first period but outshot the Flyers 16-1 in the second period to take a 4-0 lead after two periods. Wyatt Gerbracht scored the lone goal for Bagley/Fosston on a power play at the 1:34 mark of the third period. The Flyers end their season with an overall record of 18-8-0. The Lakers move on to the Section 8A Semifinals where they will play defending state champion East Grand Forks on Saturday, February 21st at 3:30 pm in Thief River Falls.
