Climax-Fisher’s Peyton Hoffman broke the 1000 point mark for her high school career Thursday as the Knights defeated Bagley 75-53 in Fisher.

The eighth grader needed 23 points to achieve that milestone.  She got points 23 and 24 with 10:56 to play in the second half.  Hoffman finished the game with 33 points and 20 rebounds.

Climax-Fisher was in control most of the way, leading 38-28 at the half and taking a 27 point lead late in the game.  The Knights forced 20 turnovers as they won their third in a row and moved to 7-8 overall and 3-1 in the Pine to Prairie Conference.  Senior Ella Paulsrud scored 13 points for the Knights.

Bagley was led offensively by Sadie Fultz with 17 points and Isabella Warmbold with 11.  The Flyers are now 4-10 overall and 1-5 in the Conference.

Climax-Fisher will take on Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Tuesday night in Twin Valley.

Bagley travels to Mahnomen-Waubun on Tuesday.
