Bagley vs. Mahnomen/Waubun

The Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds advanced in the Section 8A Tournament with a 3-1 win over the Bagley Flyers. The Thunderbirds scored two runs in the second inning and another run in the fourth as they improve to 13-6 overall. Jaz Olson picked up the win in the circle for the Thunderbirds. Makalyn Hoie tripled for the Flyers as they end their season at 11-10 overall. The game lasted only one hour and two minutes. Mazie Hoie and Kaitlyn Kumpula each had two hits for Bagley. Cora McArthur had two hits for Mahnomen/Waubun.
