Erskine, MN — The Win E Mac Patriots beat the the Bagley Flyers on Thursday night 45-31 to win their second game of the season.

You couldn’t make up a more evenly matched game. Both teams traded baskets on offense, played zone defense in the half court and pressured each other with a full court pressure. It wasn’t until the eight minute mark of the first half that the Patriots made the run of the game that catapulted them to a double digit lead. Win E Mac went on at 16-8 run for a little over six minutes and went up 28-18 at the break.

The Patriots never surrendered the lead and the deficit never cracked to within single digits as the Patriots won 45-31. Win E Mac is not 2-13 on the year and will be on the road Friday at Thief River Falls. Bagley falls to 3-15 and will be at Fertile-Beltrami next Tuesday.
