Northern Cass won the 2023 Barnes County Girls Basketball Tournament with a 78-51 win over Maple River on Friday night from Valley City State University.
Haidyn Crockett recorded a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds for Northern Cass. The Jaguars shot 7-13 from beyond the arc and broke a championship game record for points scored.
Carly Hovelson paced Maple River with 14 points as the Raiders dropped to 4-1 overall. Maple River heads to Oak Grove on Tuesday night for their next contest.
Northern Cass (3-0 overall) travels to Lisbon on Monday.
