WAHPETON, ND – Hankinson defeated Barnes County North 76-46 in the District 1 boys basketball semifinals on Monday night.

Hankinson and Barnes County North combined for 48 points in the first quarter as the Pirates held a 28-20 lead and would never trail for the rest of the game.

Raeshaun Earl finished 23 points and Matthew Bladow added 19 points (5 three-pointers) in the win for Hankinson. The Pirates look to defend their District 1 title against Oakes on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
