GBB Barnesville at Ada-Borup-West

Barnesville’s defensive effort lifted them past Ada-Borup-West Tuesday night in Ada, 60-41.  The visiting Trojans improved to 17-6 as they led from start to finish— working toward an eleven point lead, 25-14 and a 28-22 halftime lead—  After Ada-Borup-West closed the deficit to two points, 33-31 , Barnseville relied on their half court defense for a 17-0 run, and a 50-31 lead.  The Trojans made seven 3-point field goals with Sophie Frederick connecting on four of those seven.  Ada-Borup-West lost their fourth consecutive game, falling to 13-10 overall with their final regular season game Friday night hosting Clinton-Gracevile-Beardsley.   Barnesville plays Wheaton and Pelican Rapids this week to wrap up it’s regular season.  Tournaments for both teams begin next week.
