PRB battled back in set three. Leading 18-10, the Tigers held off a Lumberjack comeback for a 25-23 win.

Bemidji forced set four winning 25-16, and thanks to a 6-0 run claimed the match with a 15-9 win in the final set.

Mollie Ruup led Bemidji with 28 kills. Margie Anderson tallied 37 assists and two aces.

The Tigers were led by Caylei Johnson’s 34 assists and two aces, Mimi Buecker’s 13 kills and Kassidy Bristow’s 12 kills, 3 blocks and an ace.

Bemidji improves to 8-4 while Pine River-Backus falls to 10-5 on the season.
