The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds took advantage of early Benson miscues and turnovers to come away with a 41-6 win.  Benson struggled with early turnovers which gave Mahnomen Waubun the short field resulting in 4 unanswered scores in the 1st quarter.  From there the Thunderbirds would let their reserves see some playing time to finish out the game.
