BBB Blackduck at Climax-Fisher

Sophomore Tyler Evitts scored 25 points, including 5 three-point baskets as Climax-Fisher won its season opener Monday night over Blackduck 62-49 in a game played in Fisher.

The Knights’ defense held Blackduck to just 6 first half field goals as Climax-Fisher led 32-23 at intermission.  Then Climax-Fisher took advantage of turnovers to go up 51-34 in the second half and get the victory from there.

Climax-Fisher forced 23 turnovers, while giving the ball up 21 times themselves, and the Knights outrebounded the Drakes 37-25.

Gabe Wentzel scored 12 points and Branson Solheim 10 for Climax-Fisher.  The 1-0 Knights host Laporte Thursday night in Fisher.

Shane Boe-Curry had 14 points and Jake Mistic 10 for Blackduck (0-1)
