The Carrington Cardinals stayed undefeated against Region 2 opponents after holding off the Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros for the five-set victory, (25-16. 23-25, 25-15, 19-25, 15-6). Both teams battled back and forth with strong play at the net. In the final set the Cardinals fell behind early before a timeout allowed them to regroup and go from trailing by three to leading 5-3 and on their way to a five set win.
