Central Cass vs Hillsboro Central Valley
Recap
A fast paced offense helped lead to a fast start for the Central Cass Squirrels in their 34-13 victory over the Hillsboro Central Valley Burros. The Squirrels no-huddle offense had the Burros on their heels in the opening quarter with three scores for a 20-0 lead. With a number of players involved in the offense (17 Squirrels would carry the ball or catch a pass in the game) that lead bloomed into a 34-0 lead at halftime. After the break the Squirrels would drive into Burro territory with the Burros holding their ground to not see the Squirrels extend their lead. Meanwhile the Burros connected on a few big plays to allow them to find the endzone in the fourth quarter. The Squirrels, now 5-1, will host Thompson next week while the Burros (1-5) will travel to Oakes.
