Hi-Liners fly high with offensive attack

Valley City dominated the paint on both offense and defense in their 78-45 win over Central Cass on Tuesday night. Skye Nielsen scored 21pts to lead all scorers and Katie Burchill scored 18pts. A large majority of the Hi-Liners baskets came from within 5 feet of the basket, lots of catch, drop step layups.

The defense’s length affected Central Cass at the rim all night, holding the Squirrels to a low percentage in close. Valley City locks up the #1 seed at 10-0 in Region 1, Central Cass falls to 4-6.
