Clearbrook-Gonvick at Ada-Borup-West

The Ada-Borup-West cougar defense generated turnovers to lead to quick offense to spark them to an 83-45 win over the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears for their first win of the year. The Cougars open the game with a 17-0 run as they never trailed in the game. The Bears were able to show spurts where they got their offense going, but too many turnovers allowed the Cougars to continue to get looks close to the basket to maintain their lead.

The Cougars are now 1-2 and will travel to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Friday night while the Bears, now 3-1 after suffering their first loss of he year, will play Kittson County central on Saturday.

Ada-Borup-West wins the C-Team game 56-29 and JV game 80-29.
