Bagley, MN — The Bagley Flyers played an excellent brand of basketball on Tuesday night en route to their 58-36 win over the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears for their second win in a row and improving to 7-15 on the season.

The Bagley defenses was flying around all night long and made things extremely tough for the Clearbrook-Gonvick offense to operate. Bagley picked up C-G in the full on every made basket and in the half court they were in the Bears’ face all night forcing them into 30 total turnovers. Bagley would get out to a 9-2 lead forcing Clearbrook-Gonvick Coach Lindsey Samson into their first timeout. The Bears would respond by cutting the deficit to 12-8 but Clearbrook-Gonvick would never be able to catch back up as the night ore on. Bagley lead 33-17 at the half, the would balloon their lead to 49-25 and eventual seal the win 58-36.

With th win Bagley is now 7-15 on the year and will play their final regulars season game next Tuesday at Warrroad. Clearbrook-Gonvick falls to 7-16 and will be at home Thursday versus Red Lake County Central.
