Clearbrook-Gonvick at Bagley

The Bagley pitching staff combined for 14 strikeouts as the Flyers defeated Clearbrook-Gonvick 7-1 at Mullan Field in Bagley in the first round of the Section 8A Baseball Tournament. Ian Phrakonkham and Bradley Morse each struck out six batters as the Flyers improve to 12-7 overall. Kamryn Thompson and Wyatt Gerbracht each had two hits for the Flyers. Carson Derby and Briar Kroulik each had one hit for the Bears as they end their season at 5-15. The Flyers advance to the next round of the tournament where they will play either Blackduck or Lake of the Woods at 12:30 on Thursday afternoon at Bemidji State University (96.7 FM).
