Clearbrook-Gonvick at Bagley

Sophomore Sadie Fultz hit five 3 pointers as the Bagley Flyers defeated the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears 56-45 in the pigtail round of the Section 8A Girls Basketball Tournament. Fultz led the Flyers with 20 points as Bagley improved their overall record to 6-21. Kathryn Agnew added 16 points for the Flyers while Kira Thompson pulled down 10 rebounds for Bagley. The Flyers used a 14-2 run in the first half to give them a 22-9 lead and Bagley led 28-17 at halftime. Allison Lavine led Clearbrook-Gonvick with 23 points and 12 rebounds as the Bears end their season with an overall record of 3-24. It was the second win for Bagley over Clearbrook-Gonvick this season with the Flyers winning 44-24 on December 20th in Bagley. Bagley will travel to Fosston to play the Greyhounds on Thursday, March 2nd (7:00 pm on 1480-AM/99.7 FM) in the 2nd round of the Section 8A Tournament. The Greyhounds defeated the Flyers twice during the regular season.
